Bob Jeffrey Memorial Golf Day 2018 | What Really Went Down

PHOTOS: It was a case of extremes last Thursday when the competition teed off for the annual Bob Jeffrey Memorial Golf Day, held this year at Mudgeeraba’s picturesque Boomerang Farm course.

With incoming storms and blustery conditions, the weather threatened to smash the event off the course however a lucky break spared the players from the severe storms that belted the northern Sunshine Coast that afternoon – GALLERY below.

Extreme weather mixed with extreme golfing action as the first teams teed off in the rain. A few holes in and the sky cleared, delivering hot and humid conditions in the afternoon sun, only to again soon be replaced by plummeting temperatures and a brisk arvo – truly 3 of the 4 seasons in one afternoon.

What a spectacular course full, about as scenic and relaxing as it gets with an incredible array of birds and wildlife about.

Drinks flowed like the water on the roofs and there was some incredible, and absolutely questionable golfing performances on display haha!

A late run to the clubhouse and a stellar feed put on by Mel and Sam on the BBQ rounded out the day, and the prizes this year were amazing so there were some very happy people – winners are grinners for sure!

MASSIVE shout out to the event sponsors who provided some amazing prizes and support. Proceeds of the day go the club which is great and of course, plenty of cheers and toasts to Bob who we’re sure was looking down laughing at this year’s motley arrangement of players and performances.

Thank you for the amazing prizes and support from –
