We caught up with coach Fred last week for a wrap up of the season so far.

It’s been a strong start to the year for the women’s team in their comeback season after a couple of years off thanks to GCF.

The ladies have battled some equally tough opposition for a well-earned 4 wins and 2 losses from 6 games.

Vs Musgrave lost 3-2
Vs Palm Beach won 5 nil
Vs Robina won 8-1
Vs Southport won 1 nil
Vs Tweed lost 1 nil
Vs Mudgeeraba won 7-2

The team are playing some nice football thanks to a rock-solid defence not letting much through – this has allowed our midfield and strikers plenty of chances to showcase their skills.
