Exceptional Coaching Opportunity Opens Up At Nerang Eagles For 2018

UPDATE: Our senior men’s coaching positions have now been filled – thanks to all who showed interest!

A rare opportunity at the club is open as the club seeks new coaches for both our senior men’s firsts and a senior men’s reserves teams for next year’s season.

We would like to first thank our senior men’s firsts coach Stuart Scrivens for his efforts this year and wish him well in his future endeavours as he is unable to continue with the club – a tremendous result for our firsts in the Coast League One competition, finishing a strong third overall and narrowly missing a promotion to the Gold Coast Premier League.

For such a young side, the achievements this year were above expectation and thrilling to watch – next year will be truly an exciting year with some serious and already-proven talent coming through the ranks.

The club is now fielding interest in those two positions for our two main senior teams – the Eagles are looking for experienced football coaches with an absolute zest for shaping effective football teams, uniting players, club pride, technical ability, dedication and achieving results on the field.

If you think this is you or someone you know who is capable and interested then please contact Sam Shepherd on 0450 144 473 to discuss the potential opportunities.

This year our men’s firsts team fielded a remarkable squad with many young developing players who, as a team, rattled the cages of the top teams in the league.

The club is looking to expand on this success in 2018 and step up again.

Nerang Eagles Soccer Club won the coveted Football Gold Coast ‘Overall Club Champions’ award and trophy for 2017, demonstrating the wealth of talent and commitment we have at the club right now.

Our developing teams from U12 ages and up, through the Academy of Football Australia development and training programs, are among some of the finest teams in the region and are building a platform for continuing success and growth in the club into the very near future and years to come.

New senior coaches will be encouraged to assist with the development and transition of some of these emerging talent pools and players from junior football into senior football environment – with club loyalty and pride partnered equally with personal and team success and improvement.

Coaches will be joining a proud and long-established Queensland soccer club with over 45 years of football history and legacy under its belt, and the only club in Queensland that is formally partnered with the mighty Celtic FC of Scotland as part of the Celtic Soccer Academy.

Enquiries to Sam on 0450 144 473 or email the club at admin@nerangsoccer.com – no time wasters please, serious applicants only need apply.
