About The Club
The Nerang Eagles were first established as a club in 1972, originally based at the Nerang Velodrome. In 1987 a new clubhouse completed the club’s move to where we are today at the mighty Glennon Park and newly dedicated Bob Jeffrey Field.
The club has enjoyed many years of junior and senior football success both locally and afar. From humble beginnings in the Brisbane leagues and local junior competitions, today the Eagles boast a rich history which has branched out from the Gold Coast and South East Queensland to beyond. Nerang players have gone on to represent not only the Eagles, but to also play for state and even national representative teams as well as take up international squad placements abroad.
Today, the club has a strong local support base and hundreds of players spanning teams from ages 3-years through to our senior men’s and women’s teams, which feature prominently in the various Football Gold Coast leagues.
In 2017 Nerang Soccer Club won the coveted and esteemed Overall Club Champions trophy for the entire Football Gold Coast region – testament to the wealth of coaching experience, playing skill and collective effort within the club.
Nerang Soccer Club is also home to the Academy of Football Australia, one of Queensland’s most sought-after premier youth football training academies.
Well known for its friendly, inclusive and family atmosphere, the Nerang Eagles Soccer Club has a strong foundation built on the dedication of the volunteers.
The club features a spacious clubhouse with a large covered terrace veranda to help with rehydration and provide a spectator vantage point (and maybe the odd beer or two). We have a fully licensed bar and food canteen with everything from sizzling hamburgers, bacon and egg rolls, through to sports drinks and snacks.
The clubhouse is located in the middle of the complex, we also have 6 individual change rooms, plenty of car parking and a large playground for the kids.
The Nerang Eagles are excited and looking forward to November 2018 and hope the club can help you in having an enjoyable, fun and successful time whether playing or visiting as a spectator for the 2018 Pan Pacific Masters Games!
