Partners In Focus: Gold Coast Meat Brokers Nerang & Carrara

When it comes taste, there’s no compromise … and that’s exactly what you’ll find down on the corner of Pappas Way and Spencer Road when you visit one of the best butcher shops around.

Late last year, the long-time Greenacre Butchers changed hands and became the Gold Coast Meat Brokers, in doing so the new owners brought a brand new ethos and offering to the area for carnivores and meat lovers alike.

Choice cuts and some of the freshest and tastiest meat in town!

Whether you BBQ, bake, broil, baste, simmer, skillet, sizzle or even burn (haha we know there’s a few of you out there!) the new owners have stepped up the quality and the value since the signs went up, and we can’t help but – after our own visit to check the place out – recommend that you all go in and check them out next time you’re headed home from training or a Saturday match.

Gary and Michael check out the goods, dreaming (or scheming) up their next Sunday sizzle and bbq spread

It’s not just the meat though, it’s all about community, and that’s why they’re backing Nerang Soccer Club by supplying a literal smorgasbord of the finest produce for weekly raffles and sizzles at our clubhouse.

We’ve seen it, tasted it, and it’s flavour and quality through and through. The generosity of the Gold Coast Meat Lockers isn’t  going unnoticed either, with proceeds from the raffles chipping in towards vital equipment and costs the club has, ensuring every player at Nerang always has a ball at their feet and a shirt on their back.

Head in, grab your own bevy of beef or lump of lamb, a saucepan of snags or even a chunk of chicken, they have everything you need and more – even fruit and veg, milk, eggs – the works! Tell ’em we sent you!
