Dear members, parents and supporters,
As some of you may already know our Facebook page has been suspended this morning, along with hundreds of other non-news Facebook pages such as universities, government health pages, community groups, charities, non profits, sporting clubs and more.
Nerang Soccer Club has already engaged with and requested to Facebook that this be reviewed, and we hope for a response in the next few days as it has been submitted now.
There is no guarantee that our page will be reinstated and we have no more information other than that at this time.
Nerang Soccer Club is impartial and has no connection to or involvement with the current events surrounding the Australian news media, Australian government and Facebook.
We are a registered not-for-profit community club organisation and not a commercial news publisher however we appear to have been — along with may others including other local soccer clubs — targeted by this blanket banning action.
STAY IN TOUCH IN THE INTERIM —
We ask that you please head over to our Instagram page (link below) and become a follower ASAP if you have not already as we will be posting any updates and information there for the time being, and some information on our website as well.
Things like wet weather, field closures, events, games and other info will be ON OUR INSTAGRAM PAGE for the time being.
If you don’t have an Instagram account we suggest you create one.
Thanks for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this, our updated training field status for today will be posted after 2PM.
