There’s nothing more amazing and thrilling than your first start in soccer, and Nerang Eagles are proud to continue to offer one of the best programs for 3 to 5 year old players who are taking their very first steps into the soccer universe!
The EAGLETS program gives our youngest and brightest stars the chance to explore soccer and learn the fundamental movements and ideas of the world game.
Once a week, our fledgling Eaglets gather on the hallowed grounds of the Nerang Eagles Soccer Club to learn everything they need to know to make a start in soccer, in a safe and fun environment.50
Teamwork
Join with other young boys and girls each week to play and learn together as a group. Eaglet values include fair play, friendship, supporting each other and above all, heaps of football activity and FUN!
Skills
Our Eaglets coach comes from a football background, bringing their experience and understanding of the game to every session, ensuring that kids get the right fundamental skills from the start.
Fun
The foundation of learning football is that it is fun, more fun and a bucket load of fun. Activities will be more than just soccer with fun games, movement challenges, prompts and much more !

THIS PROGRAM is a non-profit program, and unlike some other fast-tracked and for-profit programs for this age bracket, each participant as a Nerang Eaglet will receive the personal attention, friendship and support needed when taking their first steps into the game, giving them confidence and enjoyment throughout their time as a Eaglet.
Post Eaglet soccer pathways open for players to move towards entering the Gold Coast Mini Roos competition, open to 5-year-olds and up, which starts at the Under 6 age bracket (subject to mid-season availability OR waiting for the 2023 season)
