Terms and Conditions for Parents and Participants in the Eaglets Football Program
- Registration and Participation
- All participants must be registered via Nerang Soccer Club and the Eaglets Football Program to participate in any activities.
- A simple registration form must be completed accurately by the legal parent/guardian and submitted along with any required fees prior to the commencement of the program.
- Age and Eligibility
- The Eaglets Football Program is open to children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. It is recommended that 3 year olds be on the mature side, as the program requires participants to follow directions and participate in group physical activities.
- Nerang Soccer Club reserves the right to refuse participation to player who is deemed by club officials and coaches to not be suitable for the program for any reason. Possible refunds will be granted on a case-by-case basis only.
- Code of Conduct
- Participants and Parents are expected to adhere to the club’s Code of Conduct, Football Australia’s code of conduct, and show respect for coaches, officials, other participants at all times.
- Participants or Parents who are deemed to be in serious breach of any of these codes or expectations may be removed from the program, and any possible refunds would be on a case-by-case basis at the club’s discretion.
- Health and Safety
- It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure that their child is physically and mentally fit to participate in these football activities.
- Any medical conditions, special needs or allergies must be disclosed to the club prior to participation.
- Parents or Guardians authorise Nerang Soccer Club, its staff, coaches and officials, to administer first aid to any person they deem requires treatment from injury or illness. Parents and Guardians accept all liability for any cost or damages that may arise from such treatment.
- Parents or Guardians authorise Nerang Soccer Club, its staff, coaches and officials, to seek further treatment (call an ambulance or doctor) as they deem required in the event of injury or illness to any participant or spectator, and agree to be liable for any cost or damages or liability that may arise from such actions.
- Supervision and Attendance
- Participants must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian during the program, parents and guardians must remain on site (by the sidelines or at the clubhouse) for the entirety of each session.
- Partial refunds are not offered for any sessions missed.
- Indemnity and Liability
- Parents/guardians hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue or seek damages from the Nerang Soccer Club, its officers, staff, coaches and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant or property while participating in the Eaglets Football Program, the the extent by which Australian law permits.
- This indemnity and release of liability shall extend to any claims arising from the negligence of the Nerang Soccer Club, its officers, employees, or volunteers.
- Photography and Publicity
- The Nerang Soccer Club reserves the right to use photographs, videos, and other media of participants for promotional purposes, including but not limited to club website, social media, and promotional materials. Parents/guardians who do not wish for their child to be photographed or featured must notify the club in writing by emailling media@nerangsoccer.com BEFORE the start of the program. Participants first (given) names only may be published, surnames are restricted from any social media or website publishing.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions
- The Nerang Soccer Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians via email or club website.
By signing the registration form and registering your child to participate in the Eaglets Football Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
